The Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government of the Azores has opened the application period for Azorean companies to participate in the 2026 edition of Web Summit, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The initiative aims to promote the internationalisation of Azorean companies and the acquisition of business opportunities in foreign markets, through participation in an event that brings together companies, investors, strategic partners and leaders from the technology sector from around the world.
Companies headquartered or with a permanent establishment in the Autonomous Region of the Azores that operate in technological sectors may apply, namely computer programming, Internet of Things (IoT), game development, augmented reality, e-commerce, industrial software, Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Human-to-Machine (H2M) and Big Data technologies, or in other areas relevant to the objectives of the competition.
A total of 15 companies will be selected to join the Azores delegation at Web Summit 2026, benefiting from event passes and the opportunity to present their products, services or solutions to potential international customers, partners and investors.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on 14 August 2026, through the electronic form available at: https://forms.office.com/e/JPjG8qp18F.
