Flying to the Azores is definitely a good plan
Located in the North Atlantic, between the European and American continents, the archipelago is two hours by air from Lisbon, three to five hours from other European capitals, and five to six hours from the USA and Canada. Nine airlines fly to the Azores, seven of which offer direct flights.
